| The Memorial Park Golf Course Junior Golf Program is designed to help kids ages 7-14 who are just beginning to learn the game of golf. The 3 day class is held each week in June and July. It repeats the same format each week. Class size is limited to the first 28 paid applicants. The daily format is as follows: Wednesday 8:00am - 11:00am Golf rules and etiquette classroom instruction. Explanation of the basic concepts for playing golf Grip, stance and posture, ball position, and etc. 1 hour of putting 1 hour of hitting irons on the range Thursday 8:00am - 11:00am More classroom instruction-Rules and Etiquette 1 hour of pitching and chipping 1 hour of hitting woods on the range Friday 7:30am - 10:00am Playing golf on the course Clubs, balls, and tees will be provided to those who need it.
